A Serene Bakasana by Katie Halsall on 500px.com

Life of Kitty has been running for three years, with a focus on life/travel, books, stationery, fitness and food. It is a place to share experiences, share loves, hates and life as it goes on.

Katie; A writer, photographer, reader, fitness-addict and cat lover. Having studied Photography at college and Wildlife Media at university, I quickly realised my love for the creative world. Blogging gives me that creative outlet to improve my writing and photography, and to interact with like-minded people.

In February 2015 I decided to finally change to a vegetarian diet, and you can see my reasons for being vegetarian here. Running is my vice. I’ve done a couple of 10k races and am looking forward to my first Half Marathon in March 2017! I am looking to write more about fitness and my journey. I am also currently taking part in the 101 in 1001 challenge, and love completing lists like this.

  • Hello young lady,
You have a beautiful blog and a wonderful sense of camera :) Keep it up.
Will be coming around more often now.

  • I couldn’t decide which post or blog to comment, so here seemed best! I am absolutely adoring your blog, and your degree sounds so interesting! I’m going to uni to do geography in september and love it when we do ecosystems cos it’s all about wildlife!
Anyway keep it up, I’m loving your blog!! :)

    • Thank you!
Yes, I love my degree! Next year I’ll be doing about Animal Behaviour in one module and I’m really looking forward to that :3

  • I love stationary and wildlife! I love your pictures of your diary. I was wondering if I could include one of your pictures of a diary in a book I’m working on? It’s a book about writing and writing tools and ti’s to inspire people to write. It will be very visual and a picture of your diary would fit great.
Your name, age and location would be included and all credit would go to you for your words.
All good if you’re not interested. Just thought I’d check.

    • Yes, that would be fine! It would be great if you could mention the blog or my twitter with that for reference! (:

      • Yay, that’s great. Thanks so much. Could I grab your name, age and location? I’ll link to your blog too.

        • Katie Halsall, 21 and Wigan (: thanks!

          • Cool thanks! Um, where’s Wigan? Sorry, I’m going for a state and country or city and country. Not sure what you call it over there.

          • Oh sorry, didn’t think about that! Wigan, England? Probably easiest!

          • All good, thanks so much! I’m in Australia.
