It’s been a long time since I posted about my TBR shelf, and quite honestly I only remembered this morning that I had posted about it earlier this year! At the last count, in February, I had 37 books to read. This morning, my shelf holds 20 books. Sounds great, right?
Admittedly, 8 of those books got sent home with my parents unread, as I knew I wouldn’t read them before I move back home. Since my last post I’ve lost some books, gained some books and actually read some books. 20 books isn’t actually too bad, but I know there are still a load waiting for me at home. Maybe summer will give me more time to read! (Unlikely you know, unless I actually fail to get a full time job. Looking like a possibility right now.) I am actually 15 books behind on my 2015 Goodreads goal – how terrible!
Apologies for the bad lighting in the photo, but here are the books:
The Robber Bridegroom – Brothers Grimm
The Dhammapada – Anon
Scarred for Life – Kerry Wilkinson
On the Origin of Species – Charles Darwin
Still Alive – Lisa Genova
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August – Claire North
The Girl with All the Gifts – M.R. Carey
The End of the Wasp Season – Denise Mina
Elysian Fields – Suzanne Johnson
Feet in the Clouds – Richard Askwith
Hexwood – Diana Wynne Jones
Pure – Jennifer L. Armentrout
The Uglies Series – Scott Westerfeld
Adventures in Mind – Heather Dawe
The Inn at the Top – Neil Hanson
The Butterfly Isles – Patrick Barkham
I’m currently reading Dream A Little Dream – Giovanna Fletcher, and I think the next one on my list will be On the Origin of Species. I’ve wanted to read that one forever, and it’s on my list of 20 things to do before graduating so I’m aiming to get it read before I move home! (When does this challenge end? I only officially graduate in November… hmm) I’m expecting it to be a little boring in points, so I may read it alongside something, but I’m hoping it will surpass expectations and be really interesting throughout! Time get get reading!
